Bella With Balloons

Hi everyone.

It's feel like an age since I was last here....I haven't been very well for a week or so and what with all the decorating and trying to go to work still, crafting was the last thing on my mind.

Anyway I'm beginning to feel better now and so managed to make a card this morning before I went to work.

The image is called Bella With Balloons and along with the papers, are from Wild Rose Studio. I have coloured using 'Copics'....get me.....I usually reach for the Promarkers. I have added some Stickles to the paler balloons and the ribbon, lace and pearls are from The Hobby House.

I would like to say 'Hello' to my new followers....and 'Thank you' for joining me on my crafting journey.....be it a little hit and miss at the moment.

A Decoupaged Christmas

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well today.

Well I've woken up feeling very grotty this morning.....I ache all over and I've got swollen glands in my neck but on the plus side it's Sunday so no work today.

Anyway we have a new challenge over at

Christmas Crafting

and our theme for November is

Decoupage

Here is my DT card

The image is from a Sarah Kay Xmas Decoupage sheet which I've had for ages. I picked quite a few of these sheets up when I went to Ally Pally last September with my friend and they have proved invaluable when I've needed a quick card. They are really simple to put together and always look very effective. The papers are from Wild Rose Studio and the Poinsettia is from a die~cut pack from Craftwork Cards. I have completed my card with some glitter, a sentiment from LOTV and a few pearls and brads from The Hobby House.

Our sponsors this month are

Sassy Studio Designs

Please pop over to the main challenge blog and have a look at what the rest of the team have created and don't forget this is a Christmas only challenge....and we look forward to seeing all your lovely decoupaged creations.

Brogan had a pumpkin for Halloween and I hate waste so hence the soup and here is the pumpkin she carved.

I'm afraid it's not the best piccy but you can see it is the Corpse Bride from the Tim Burton film of the same name....it looked fabulous in the window and all our 'Trick or Treaters' thought it looked great.
