Struggling....And Oh Dear....The Garden!!!

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

This is a long post......so please bear with me....

An apology.....first!

Unfortunately I am struggling with my Fibromyalgia at the moment and to add insult to injury and as a result of two old accidents to my neck and shoulder I am experiencing daily headaches/severe pins/needles/weakness and chronic aches in my neck and down both arms.....hence the crafting has gone out of the window...I am trying exercise and a variety of medications and looking at an MRI soon....I have had this problem for a long time but it has now got the better of me.....I can do a bit of crafting but only for a short time as I have to keep moving and my concentration is shot through.

I'm bored and want to go back to work.....And I never thought I'd say that although I must like my job as I have been doing it for nearly 29 years...full time but am looking forward to retiring in 7 years....now I'm not wishing my time away but I have plans and so many things I want to do (God willing)and this health issue is in my way.....but I will beat this or learn to manage and live with it as I have done with the Fibromyalgia......

So I am very sorry for my lack of crafting - comments - and visits to your blogs.....this post is taking forever to type too....due to pins and needles in my hands!!!!!

Anyway enough about that.....what I have been able to do (and which I hate to do) is delegate!!!!

As many of you know my main project of late has been 'slowly' doing up our house which is almost finished.....and now I've set my sights at the front garden....normally I am used to getting stuck into jobs and doing things for myself and Mr T is not a gardener but bless him he is doing a fine job along with the help of a gardener who has been helping us....hedge trimming, turf laying etc.....

And this is what they/me via delegation have started to tackle....

Oh Dear...what a job...some of the larger trees have already been dealt with and the wood piled up for the new wood burner....pictures to follow.....

From the main road at the front.

From the front porch.

A view from the road/front.

And the planter which is huge.....

From here you can see through the metal gate to the left hand side garden which has become a dumping ground while doing the renovations to the house....the next project on the list.

I will post some progress photos as we move along....

I had many plans for this garden but we have decided after much deliberation that we are now only going to be staying here for a year or so (although I love what we have done to the house)....the garden ideas have been significantly simplified.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and sticking with me.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
