Woman On A Mission....

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

The woman on a mission is 'Me'....

To lose weight that is....last January 2016 I returned to work after being off for 6 months with a neck/shoulder/muscle problem. In that time my weight ballooned due to gross inactivity....forced inactivity that is...but since returning to work I have gradually managed to lose some of the weight and today I can happily say I have now lost 20lbs.....yeah....!!!

I still have a way to go to reach my goal but I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

I am thrilled as my will power is just awful, I love chocolate and biscuits and I can't bear gyms so all in all I'm pretty pleased with myself.....more so as I have a rather special ocassion coming up in the next few months or so......

More about that later though.....

I will try to post again re my progress.....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Sorting and Knitting....FNWF.

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I know I'm late with this post but it's been a busy week.....but better late than never!!!

I promised myself on Friday that I would join in at

Friday Night With Friends

So  Friday evening found me joining in with like minded crafter's from around the world again who join together (virtually) that is.....on the first Friday of the month to do a spot of knitting, sewing, crocheting etc....whatever craft you like....

Thank you to Cheryll for hosting this fabulous get together.

Anyway I decided to do some sorting and some knitting.....

I sorted patterns and balls of wool and continued to knit squares for the blanket below.

I am so behind with this blanket and I have wool coming out of my ears but I will keep going with it.

I also continued to knit another three squares for my other blanket....(to be revealed towards the end of the year) for the KAL I joined at my local knitting shop....

I'm really enjoying the knitting....but I'm still a novice and learning all the time.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

The Enchanting Rose Tea Cup/Mug Exchange...

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

My awful cold is now beginning to improve although I still have a sore throat and dreadful sinus pain but I feel as though I'm on the mend....Thank goodness....

To cheer myself up I have once again joined in with Stephanie's 'Tea Cup & Mug Exchange.

I have waited patiently and with just a tad excitement for this lovely exchange. I have taken part twice now and think it is such a lovely thing to do....

Especially as a) I collect vintage tea cups and saucers

and b) I adore tea.

This is the perfect exchange for me and Stephanie runs it fabulously. It's also a lovely way to make new friends with similar hobbies and interests.

Take a little look at the past exchanges and you'll see why I love it so much.
